OtO Inc. (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Website www.otolawn.com, use our App, or communicate with us via any other form over the Internet, such as email or by deploying our Sprayer(s) and using our Service (collectively, our “Site”). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Site.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Privacy Policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.

You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Site after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number that you voluntarily give to us when you establish an account to use our Service or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Site, such as communicating with us. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so will prevent you from establishing an account to use our Service or may prevent you from using certain features of the Site.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site. We may also record your browsing activity within our Website or App, including pages viewed, mouse clicks, mouse movements, and scrolling activity.

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, products from the Site. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our third part payment processors (such as Shopify™, Paypal™, Apple Pay™ and Google Pay™) you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Mobile Device Data

Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the Site from a mobile device

App Information

If you connect using our mobile application:

Geo-Location Information. We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s bluetooth, calendar, camera, microphone, reminders, sensors, SMS messages, storage, and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

Mobile Device Data. We may collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and IP address.

Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Service. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

Service Information

If you use deploy our Sprayer and use our Service, our Site will periodically communicate with the Sprayer in order to control it and dispense Solution(s) from any Canister(s) that you install in the Sprayer:

Device Information. Information that specifically identifies your Sprayer, in particular its Ethernet MAC address.

Geo-Location Information. Internet address in order to communicate with your Sprayer over Wifi.

Configuration Information. The type and configuration of irrigation zones established by you.

Schedule. An irrigation schedule,

Water Usage. The quantity and timing of water usage.

Canister Usage. The type of Canister installed in the Sprayer and the Solution usage.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Site or our App to:

Create and manage your account.
Administer the Service.
Compile anonymous statistical data and analysis for use internally
Deliver targeted advertising, coupons, newsletters, and other information regarding promotions to you.
Email you regarding your account or order.
Fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments, and other transactions related to the Site.
Generate a personal profile about you to make future visits to the Site.
Increase the efficiency and operation of the Site.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site.
