It took a few tries to get the mapping correct, but the programming tool is intuitive.
Rain detector works great.
I have 2 ORO’s now and I use all 3 OTO modes.
I use the Area Mode for various Lawn areas.
I use the Line Mode for my Flower Boxes.
I use the Spot mode to water individual Rose plants along my back fence.
I use the spot mode to fill my Birdbath 25’ away from my backyard OTO.
An Underground Sprinkler System Estimate was $5,500. My OTO’s were a little over $500 each.

We have 4 Oto’s around our house to water the lawn, trees, flowers, and shrubs. They work Great! Very easy to setup and manage watering schedules through the free app. They even know when to not water due to rain and high winds. Definitely recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with how this works. Easy to set up and map out my yard. I have struggled with maintaining my front lawn for years due to its high sun exposure in the summer, this has fixed all of my issues and love how it asks to dismiss a watering due to rain so no overwatering.
Oto does exactly what it advertised. It works amazing. I had an in-ground system where a section was getting too much water and the lawn was getting fungus issues. Since using the Oto in automatic mode the watering is completely uniform and my grass is actually getting greener in the middle of a heat wave! Setup was very easy. Already planning to get a second one when I can for a section of arborvitaes I have. This purchase is a no brainer.
“Game changer” doesnt do this justice. It’s pretty incredible. Setup took maybe 10 min and worked great. Was able to easily program in all of the spots and the watering schedule. Really intuitive interface. Solar works great even in Seattle. It just works.
We use the Oto for our school garden and it delivers! Set and forget! We don’t have to worry about it. Absolutely incredible since we aren’t there on the weekends. The customer service team is absolutely amazing. So glad that we purchased the Oto!!
I have five units to water my front and backyard. Very reliable. After three seasons all is good. Had one small problem which was rectified immediately by OTO. I even taught one unit to fill a fountain in the middle of my yard and my hot tub. The ability to add zones allows you to plant anything anywhere and easily add a zone to water it. Love them.
